Alvin went above and beyond what would be considered normal uncle duties. His sometimes gruff exterior hid a loving deeply devoted to family man. The example he set has helped shape me into the person I am today, and hope to continue to improve upon. I love you and you will be greatly missed Alvin.

Alvin was the nicest man to work with...and we did for many years work together; he in the pit and me up above. Always helpful. Prayers to the family.
