So many memories of living across the road for Harry and Maxine, but most of them revolve around playing baseball on his field with the boys and Harry. Miss you

To me childhood=family=Uncle Harry's house for reunions and Christmas Eve. I will always remember our chats about his game with Satchel Paige. At the last reunion we "won" one of his beautiful wood vases in the family auction. It is something we will look at every day and think of him.

Heartfelt sympathy to all of the Helms' family in their loss. Remembering the time when Harry played ball with the Lakeview Independents. Harry was always a happy, smiling guy! The Helms' family was a part of my childhood back in the day - so many memories. So Happy you all have each other to get thru the sorrow. Sending this message in God's Love.

I will always remember Harry for his "Love of the Game". Baseball, softball and bowling Harry and my dad gave it back to the community in ways that still mean something. My condolences to his family.

Through the years, the Helms family made our family part of theirs after Dean, my father's Army buddy, convinced him and my mother to move to Michigan. I have many memories of monthly celebrations at their home. It's gratifying to know that, even though I no longer live in the area, my son has Helms boys as friends. God bless the Helms family, one and all.
