Ronnie Lee Gyger


Mr. Ronnie Lee Gyer, age 72, of Lakeview passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at home.  He was born May 4, 1941 in Six Lakes, MI to the late Victor Lea and Mildred Edna (Hunt) Gyger.  He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1959 and married Miss Suzanne Wessels on April 9, 1960.    


Besides his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother, Lynn Roy Gyger.


Surviving are his wife, Suzanne; sons: Eric and Carey of Knoxville, Tennessee and Heath and Laurie of Newaygo; grandsons: Gabriel, Tyler and Tanner; granddaughters: Rebekah, Salyna and Kendall; sister, Kay Kent; many nieces and nephews.


He was Plant Manager at Granco Clark in Belding before retiring in 2001.


He enjoyed hunting and fishing, football, NASCAR and working with and helping Amish folk.


A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Pine Township Hall in Langston.

    Sorry to hear the news of Ronnie's passing. I did not know he was ill, and he was always joking so much that I did not know if he was serious or just pulling my leg with his CRS story.
    Do to the distance I will not be able to attend the services, but I will miss him at the next class reunion. Prayer for all concerned.
