Michael David Waldron
Michael David Waldron, age 43, of Edmore passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center – Gratiot. Michael was born in Greenville on February 12, 1971, the son of David and Roberta (Copeland) Waldron. He was raised in the Edmore area and graduated from Montabella High School in 1990.
Following graduation, Michael enlisted in the United States Army serving our country overseas in the Second Armored Calvary during the Gulf War. He returned to the United States completing his service at the Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. Upon his discharge from military service, he was employed for a short period with Lobdell Emery in Alma and for more than four years at Hitachi Magnetics in Edmore. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, auto repair and watching football. He loved to play games, especially computer games.
Michael is survived by his parents, David and Roberta; three daughters: Mariah Waldron of Wisconsin, Michayln Waldron of Crystal and Megan Waldron of Wisconsin; two granddaughters: Daisy May and Clara Jane; two brothers: Mark Waldron of Greenville and Jeremy Waldron of Ithaca; his grandfather, CL Waldron of Crystal and his aunts and uncles: Wayne and Mary Waldron of Crystal, Sandra and Norman Hansen of McBride, James and Maureen Copeland of Rockford, Charlotte Harding of Owosso, Oklahoma and Patricia Johnson of Greenville.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dorothy Waldron and Marian and Gordon Copeland.
A funeral service has been scheduled for Michael for Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Vestaburg with Pastor Bruce Anna officiating. The family will receive the love and support from extended family and friends at a visitation scheduled for Tuesday evening, November 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday (1 hour prior to the service) at the Vestaburg Chapel. Interment will be in Vinewood Cemetery.
