MAXINE MAREN ERRIDGE, 86
Maxine Maren Erridge, 86, of Stanton, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014, at the Laurels of Carson City, after a second battle with cancer. Maxine was born on August 10, 1928, in Lakeview to Willie and Emma (Rasmussen) Larsen.
She was with the love of her life, Maxon (Mike) Erridge, for many happy years until his death in 1983. Since shortly thereafter, she has resided at Myrtle Mae Apartments in Stanton, where she had many long-term friends, including the owners, the Burkett’s.
Maxine was a good friend to all, had a great sense of humor and was as feisty as they come. While she was never blessed with children, she loved keeping track of the children of her many relatives and friends. She was active in her community and has left a bequest to do charitable works in the local area.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers and four sisters. She is survived by two sister-in-laws.
Her family and friends would like to express their thanks the Montcalm County Emergency Services, the staff of Sheridan Hospital and the staff of the Laurels of Carson City.
Maxine has been laid to rest beside her husband at the Evergreen Township Cemetery. There will be no funeral service, but all of her friends and family are invited to a luncheon in her memory on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Myrtle Mae Apartments, 115 W. First Street, Stanton.
Those desiring to make a contribution in Maxine's honor may do so to the Montcalm County Emergency Services.
