Daryl Alan Weissert
Daryl Alan Weissert, age 47, was found deceased unexpectedly on Saturday, July 19, 2014 in his apartment at Pine Street Apartments in Edmore. Daryl was born on January 3, 1967 in Kelsey Hospital in Lakeview to Dr. Ardell J. and Gail Weissert of Edmore, the fourth child and third son of a family of six children.
Preceding him in death were his father, Dr. Weissert; cousins: Tom (Buddy) Baldwin of Omak, Washington and David Bully of Clio; several aunts and uncles, with the most recent uncle being Keith Houghton of Lakeview who passed in February, 2014.
Surviving are his two children: Brittany McColley of Greenville and Marcus Newton of Elkhart, Indiana; his mother, Gail Weissert –Sheneman and step-father, Carl Sheneman of Stanton; his sister, Elizabeth (Douglas) Hansen of Six Lakes and his brothers: Joseph (Sharon) of Spring Lake, Randy of Stanton, Mickey (Akane) of Okinawa, Japan and Corey (Hilary) of Greenville; aunts: Jacquelyn (Lou Messer) Pelletier, Joy Houghton of Lakeview, Lee Karim of Omak, Washington; Rita Cherwinski of Mt. Morris, Ruth Bully of Clio and Yvonne Weissert of Flint and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements have been set for Thursday, July 24, 2014; with a visitation scheduled at 10 a.m. at the St. Bernadette-St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 991 E. Main Street in Stanton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. with Father Dominic Tirkey officiating. A luncheon will be served in the Parish center.
