Audrey Diane (Inbody) Moore
Mrs. Audrey Diane (Inboldy) Moore, 69, of Six Lakes or Blanchard, passed away on August 7, 2014. She was born April 27, 1945 in Edmore, MI to Donald and Eunice (Bontrager) Inbody, grew up in the Edmore/Six Lakes area, and graduated from Edmore High School in 1963.
The eldest of six siblings, she helped raise her five brothers and sisters, dearly loving all of them and enjoying their company when they visited at her farm later in life. After a short first marriage which she said only produced one good thing, she married the love of her life, Theron F. Moore, on May 24, 1969.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing, taking care of her family and listening to her proud sons’ deer hunting stories! What she really liked was family get-togethers at Christmas, Thanksgiving and Birthdays. Audrey loved to bake all kinds of sweets for the entire family.
After getting out of farming, Audrey worked sorting magnets for Hitachi Magnetics in Edmore. On Thursday, following a short and very courageous battle with lung cancer, Audrey took her last breath on this earth at her home surrounded by a large group of her loving family and her Hospice of Michigan Nurse, Rachel. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt that anyone could have ever asked for and her legacy will live on in her children and grandchildren.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Theron; children: Todd & Pam Brooks of Edmore, Dennis Moore of Six Lakes, Randall & Carol Moore of Six Lakes, Valerie & Tim Barrett of Seaside, CA, and Teresa Goldsworthy of Nevada; grandchildren: Shane & Shanda Brooks, Allison, Beau & Skylar Moore, Derrick & Devin Moore, Brian Barrett, and Steve and Michael Goldsworthy; brothers & sisters: Eleanore & Mike Jensen of Palo, Elaine & Richard Houghton of Kingston, Steve Inbody of Nebraska, Karen & David Bailey of Idaho and Kendall Inbody of Six Lakes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Audrey’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In Audrey’s honor, please remember Hospice of Michigan.
“We love ya, Mom, and we will all carry you with us wherever we are and whatever we do.”
