Bill Elden Mangus
Bill Elden Mangus, age 59, of Edmore passed away at his home on Thursday, April 26, 2012. Bill was born on November 25, 1952 in Edmore, Michigan, the son of Hiram Mangus and Ethel Evans. He was raised in the Edmore area and attended school in Blanchard.
Bill was employed as a welder with Edmore Tool and Die, a truck driver with Crooks Farm and worked at the Edmore Discount Tire prior to his disability in 2011. He loved tinkering around in his shed, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and taking daily drives.
Bill is survived by his two sons: Joey E. Mangus and Jeramie Mangus both of Edmore and a daughter, Joline (Nathan) Hurst of Texas; four grandchildren: Cynthia Green, Desirae Mangus, Dakota Mangus, Landon Hurst and a soon-to-be –born granddaughter; siblings: Carolyn (Robert) Stephens of Florida, Priscilla (Bruce) Ferguson of Vestaburg, Gary (Carol) Evans of North Carolina and Cherylene (Kurt) Wrisley of Edmore.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram and Ethel; a son, Billy Daniel Mangus and a sister, Christine Seeley.
A memorial service for Bill has been scheduled for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore with Pastor Dick Eldred officiating. Interment will be in Vinewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Bill’s honor may be made payable to Brigham Funeral Chapel to assist the family with expenses.
